ABOUT

I'm Gary and I'm here to help small businesses grow. I'm good at finding ways to increase revenue, keep costs under control and increase profit margins.

 

I live in South Wales with my wife and two young sons and I enjoy spending quality time with them, cooking, tennis and exploring the great British countryside.

I started my career as a management consultant and over the years honed my skills identifying problems and finding creative solutions.

​

I always had aspirations to run small companies and it was in the consulting world where the opportunity came to co-found my first firm. It was here that I realised I wanted to spend the rest of my career in small businesses, I love the dynamic environment and knowing you can actively influence the success of the business.

​

As the Operations Director of our parent company, which operated globally, I  gained great experience across the board having been involved cross functionally across operations, marketing, finance, budgets, planning, client management, team building, team management, project management and business development as well as having P&L responsibility as the executive lead of our UK operating company. I found I had a good eye for optimising performance, whether strategizing for growth or executing on plans for making it happen.

That business was acquired in 2015 and since leaving the acquirer I've been combining my consulting expertise with what I learnt from building and scaling a successful company, working with SME's to help them grow.

​

I've worked with very early stage start-ups, scale-ups and long established SME's looking to grow. I'm fanatical about improving performance and love being in an exciting growth environment, it really makes my blood pump.
